Dr. Christian D. Klose is expert on natural hazards. For many years he researches how natural hazards, in particular, those that are caused by humans can impact humans. As a research scientist he has been working at several international and well renown institutions, including Columbia University in New York, Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, and Ritsumeikan University in Kyoto and the GFZ German Research Centre of Geosciences in Potsdam (Germany).
